Dynabook was originally a computer business of Toshiba, and has now become a subsidiary of Sharp. This week it launched two laptops, namely the Dynabook Portégé X40-J business notebook and the Portégé X30L-J thin and light Laptops will all go on sale in November.
Both laptops are equipped with Intel’s 11th-generation Core processor, equipped with Intel Iris Xe core display, Portégé X40-J starts at $1,300 (directly converted to about RMB 8,699), and Portégé X30L-J starts at 1330 US dollars (about 8900 yuan).

Portégé X40-J is a 14-inch business notebook with strong expansion performance and robust internal structure. It supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless network and Bluetooth 5.1, Thunderbolt 4 (via USB-C). Portégé X40-J adopts FHD IPS display, optional multi-touch or dynamic privacy protection screen version, both support facial and fingerprint recognition functions.
In other respects, Portégé X40-J has Intel Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7, Core i7-1165G7 processors optional, up to 32GB of memory and 1TB SSD, 17.9 mm thick, and weighs 1.4 kg. Currently, it seems that only agate color is available.
Dynabook pointed out that the laptop’s display screen can be opened in 180-degree tiles, which makes it easy to share content with others. In addition, the laptop battery life reached an impressive 13.8 hours.
The other Portégé X30L-J is a relatively lightweight portable notebook, weighing only 906 grams. According to Dynabook, it uses a 13.3-inch Sharp IGZO display and has a battery life of 14.9 hours.
Naijatechnews.com found that the machine is similar to Portégé X40-J in other aspects, but only provides Intel 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 processor versions, 17.9 mm thick, and up to 48GB of memory.
