Sony PS5 “Marvel Spider-Man: Remastered Edition” does not support PS4 cross-generational archives

Sony announced last week that players who bought the PS5 version of “Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition” will also get the “Marvel Spider-Man: Remake” game released in 2018. Recently, Insomniac Games answered some of these questions on Twitter.

Sony has not yet clarified whether “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remake” will support the “Smart Delivery” upgrade plan, but for now, it seems that players need to purchase “Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate” on PS4 or PS5. “Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition” will be released simultaneously with PS5 on November 12th or November 19th (depending on different regions). Users who purchase the PS4 version can upgrade to the PS5 version for free.
