Apple is hosting a “Scary fast” event later today where we’ll see the debut of its latest M-series chipset alongside new MacBook Pro models and a long overdue iMac refresh. The event starts at 5PM PT / 8PM ET / 12AM UTC and you can tune in via the embedded stream below.

The M3 chip which is rumored to be based on TSMC’s 3nm process is expected to offer a significant performance boost compared to the M2 generation. It will likely debut on the new 14” and 16” MacBook Pro models as well as on the refreshed 24” iMac also expected at the event. We’ll make sure to cover all the key announcements from the event on our homepage once they are official.

NaijaTechNews  reported on October 31 that Apple will hold an event with the theme of “Fast and Rapid” at 8 this morning Beijing time. Before the event, NaijaTechNews  noticed that Apple’s online store had been offline for maintenance, which was also a routine operation before the release of Apple’s new products.

According to previously revealed, Apple is expected to launch new Mac computers with M3 chips, including an updated 24-inch iMac and 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

As usual, Apple closed its online store less than 30 minutes before the start of the press conference, which means that some new products will be available for pre-order after the press conference. Current rumors show that Apple’s new Mac computers will be available later in November, so it is likely that it can be booked today.

This press conference is somewhat unusual, because it is held in the evening local time, instead of the usual 10 a.m., and the press conference is also held online only.

Apple also made full use of the Halloween atmosphere, calling the press conference “thrilling and exciting”, and Cook also hinted that “Apple has no pranks, only desserts.”

Please continue to pay attention to NaijaTechNews, which will bring you the latest news of the press conference later.
