Epic will fix the problem of high CPU usage on the game client

Last week, foreign media VideoCardz reported that the Epic Games client seems to make some AMD Ryzen processors run hotter. Now, Epic Games admits that this is indeed a loophole, and repair work is in progress.

Foreign media said that the Epic Game Launcher game client occupies more than average CPU resources. Regardless of whether the application is running in the foreground or the background, the client will occupy some of the CPU resources, causing the AMD Ryzen CPU to overheat. In addition, this problem also affects Intel’s equipment.

Naijatechnews learned that earlier today, Epic Game Launcher developer Sergiy Galyonkin confirmed that his team has discovered this problem and has repaired it and is currently in testing. It is unclear when the patch will be released to all users.
