Tesla Nikola in the truck industry accused of never having hydrogen fuel cell technology

The agency stated that Nicholas misled its partners by falsely propagating the company’s technology, including its hydrogen fuel cell, which never existed. It alleges that Nikolai established a cooperative relationship with General Motors through deception.

Regarding Hindenburg’s allegations, a Nicholas spokesperson said in an email comment: “Nicholas has passed the audit of the most credible companies and investors in the world. We are on the road to success. Shaken by a report full of misleading information that tried to manipulate our stocks.”

On Tuesday, Nikola signed an agreement with General Motors. According to the agreement, the two companies will jointly produce electric pickup trucks and fuel cell commercial trucks to challenge Tesla.

General Motors will acquire 11% of Nikola’s shares, these shares are worth 2 billion US dollars, and will provide batteries, chassis architecture, fuel cell systems. In addition, the company will also design and manufacture electric and fuel cell versions of the Badger truck for Nikola, which is expected to be put into production at the end of 2024.
