Through the Apple One subscription service launched today, iCloud users can use up to 4TB of storage space, while the maximum storage space available to users who do not subscribe to the Apple One bundle is 2TB .
Users who subscribe to the Apple One plan will get 50GB, 200GB or 2TB of storage space depending on the plan selected.
According to Apple’s supporting documents, users who need more storage than Apple One can purchase additional iCloud storage separately, which means that users using the most expensive Apple One bundle can use up to 4TB (2TB + 2TB).
Apple One subscribers can also choose other storage for other combinations, such as 50GB using Apple One and 200GB through the separate purchase of iCloud.
Those with separate Apple IDs (for media and iCloud) can use these two accounts with Apple One, but they cannot stack storage in the same way. In this case, the Apple One storage plan will replace the current storage plan, as stated by Apple:
If you have paid for the iCloud storage plan and you apply the iCloud storage included in Apple One to the Apple ID used with iCloud, the storage included in the Apple One will replace your current storage plan. Your current storage plan has been cancelled and a proportional refund will be issued.
