The ZTEQuest 5 is a portable budget smartphone that comes with average specifications and also a good battery. The device has an old body which is still not bad though considering the price tag.
Design And Display
In terms of body design, the ZTE Quest 5 has an old body design that is built with plastic and glass on the front. It has thick bezel both on the top and bottom of the standard screen. The smartphone measures 137.0 × 68.0 × 10.55 mm in dimensions and weighs 140 grams which is light.
It has a screen size of 5.5 inches with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 480 x 960 pixels, a 19:9 ratio, and 252 PPI density. Due to the thick bezel, it has just a 71.3% screen-to-body ratio and there is a 2.5D curved glass.
As for the cameras set up, the ZTE phone maker used dual cameras on the device. The main snapper is 5 MP and it features PDAF, Geo-tagging, panorama, and f/2.2 aperture. The camera has [email protected] video quality while the selfies shooter is 2 MP and it comes with Face ID and can record 480p videos.
Hardware And Software
On the hardware, the Quest 5 has a Mediatek MT6739 chipset that is built on 32nm process technology and also a quad-core processor clocking at a speed of 4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53. It has PowerVR GE8100 GPU for graphics and runs on Android Go Edition based on Android 10 OS.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
Users will get an average inbuilt memory of 16GB and 1GB RAM. The RAM is small, but since it runs on Go Edition, you will run apps smoothly. You can also expand it using a micro SDcard up to 64GB. Sensors available are FaceID, Accelerometer, and proximity.
Battery Power And Network Connectivity
The ZTE Quest 5 has a removable battery of 2000 mAh but without fast charging. The battery should be able to last up to 20 hours under normal usage. There are a dual SIMs slot and a 4G LTE network for a fast internet connection. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, FM radio and Micro USB 2.0, USB OTG for file charging and transfer.
