Is Apple TV about to “take off”?
Earlier, there were reports that an Apple TV model with a built-in A12X bionic will be launched soon. The performance of this model will be the strongest in Apple TV history. This is the same chip that runs in the 2018 iPad Pro and is not much different from the A12Z Bionic running in the 2020 iPad Pro.
The same A12Z chip also exists in Mac mini for developers to test their applications. However, this is not the only machine Apple sends to developers, because there are new messages claiming that Apple TV that can provide simulated A14X bionic performance has also been sent to developers.
Twitter whistleblower Fudge believes that the new hardware will provide powerful performance. The whistleblower believes that there are currently two possibilities:
The main frequency speed that the new hardware can achieve is similar to the A14X bionic, or Apple is developing a new chip for Apple TV.
As for the expected performance of the A14X Bionic, analysis shows that it is comparable to Core i9-9980HK. As for when the new Apple TV will be released, there is currently no accurate timetable.
