Apple watchOS 9.6.3 & 10.0.1 officially released: 2 security vulnerabilities fixed
Apple today pushed the watchOS 9.6.3 update (internal version number: 20U502) to Apple Watch users. This update is 14 days after the last release.
It should be noted that due to caching issues with the configuration of Apple’s regional node servers, there may be a slight delay in detecting upgrades in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.
we have checked the official update log released by Apple. The repair content of watchOS 9.6.3 is the same as that of 10.0.1. It mainly fixes two security vulnerabilities. Apple Watch Series 4 and subsequent watches are affected.
One of the vulnerabilities allows local attackers to escalate privileges; while the other vulnerability allows malware to bypass signature verification. Apple said it has evidence that attackers exploit these two vulnerabilities to launch attacks on users.
