Elon Musk will host “Saturday Night Live” on May 8

the program group of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” announced this weekend that Elon Musk will host this veteran comedy show for the first time on May 8.

Musk is also the CEO of electric vehicle company Tesla and rocket company SpaceX. He previously appeared in the movie “Iron Man 2” in 2010 and participated in the filming of TV series such as “The Big Bang Theory” in 2015.

Singer Miley Cyrus will participate in “Saturday Night Live” for the sixth time as a guest music guest.

This news comes as Musk celebrates the successful docking of SpaceX’s “Dragon Spacecraft” with the International Space Station.

Although “Saturday Night Live” hosted by a businessman is rare, it is not without precedent. For example, Steve Forbes hosted this show during his 1996 campaign for the president of the United States. And Donald Trump hosted the show when he was running for president in 2015.
