Game of Thrones spin-off series Dragons Season 2 to air in summer 2024

According to Deadline, the second season of the “Game of Thrones” spin-off “House of the Dragon” will be broadcast in the summer of 2024. HBO boss Casey Bloys confirmed this at an HBO event in New York today. News , members of the media attending the event saw the first trailer for season two at the event.

According to previous reports, the “Game of Thrones” spin-off series has started filming in April this year. The HBO series is reportedly filming at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, and the first released photo shows the Iron Throne in the Great Hall of the Red Keep. Season 2 cast includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma Darcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabienne Frankel, Ivan Miche Earl, Tom Green-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans, among others.

“House of the Dragon” is adapted from George R.R. Martin’s “Fire and Blood” and is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones” and tells the story of the Targaryen family. The first episode of the show was released on HBO Max last August and became its most-watched premiere ever.
