As the month of August gradually came to an end, volunteers of the Npower program were asking questions to when their August stipends will be paid.

The Federal Government has announced plans to absorb exited N-power beneficiaries into new scheme, a move it said would help them eke a living.

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, gave the assurance at an interactive forum with state focal persons of the National Social Investment Programmes, yesterday in Abuja.

She said: “As we renew our commitment to the service of humanity, I will like to cease this opportunity to once again state that we have successfully exited Batch A and B of the N-Power beneficiaries in June and July respectively and we are still working towards ensuring a transition plan that will further engage or absorb them into other programmes.”

Sadiya, also promised that selection process of the Batch C N-power application will be thorough and base on merit.

“We have also received over 5 million applications from proposed N-Power Batch C and we are currently in the process of selecting the qualified beneficiaries coming into the programme.

“I assure all the applicants and Nigerians that the selection process will be transparent,” she said.

She added that, “I wish to reiterate that I have given approval for the payment of stipends for the exited beneficiaries of batches A and B up to the month of June 2023 including that of the independent monitors. Also, the final payment of stipend for Batch B is almost ready for transmission to the office of the Accountant General of the Federation for final checks and payment.

The minister appealed to state coordinators to discharge their duties diligently and not let her down.

“It is against this background that I urge everyone of you to continue to give in your best to ensure the lives of those we are called to serve are made better.

“We must not lose sight of the fact that each one of the vulnerable persons are not mere numbers or statistics but real people with dreams, hopes, aspirations and a desire to live decent lives in peace and safety,” he submitted.

Causes of Delay in Npower July Stipend Payment 2023

There will be a delay in the payment of Npower July Stipend or Salary Payment 2023 when there is a bank delay in dispatching payment to the beneficiaries. Of course, this will be as a result of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

This will cause a delay in the payment system. Lack of BVN linking and verification in the Bank or wrong account could also cause a delay. Also, when the body in charge did not release the money for payment as at when due to enable beneficiaries to get alert on time.

Delay in approval of funds is one of the reasons why beneficiaries do not receive their salary on time. This issue of dissolution of 2016 sets is one of the causes of delay.

Salary Structure: 25,000 – 30,000 monthly

N-Power Health Programme

Salary Structure: 30,000 – 40,000 monthly

N-Power Community Education Programme

Salary Structure: 10,000 – 30,000 monthly

N-Power Creative Programme

Salary Structure: 10,000 – 30,000 monthly

N-Power Tech (Software) Programme

Salary Structure: 20,000 – 40,000 monthly

N-Power Tech (Hardware) Programme

Salary Structure: 20,000 – 40,000 monthly

N-Power Build Programme

Salary Structure: 27,000 – 30,000 monthly

When Will Npower August and September Stipend 2023 be Paid?

As usual, there could be a little delay but the fact is that the salary or stipend must still be paid. Npower August stipend 2023 will be paid by the 28th of August through the 5th of September, 2023.

Npower pays every last week or the first week of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.

What if you did not Receive your Npower August Stipend 2023?

If you did not receive your Npower August Stipend or salary payment as at when due, kindly confirm from your colleagues or other beneficiaries if they have received theirs, then, go to your bank and confirm if you were paid but did not get the alert.

You can get a statement of your account if you wish. You can do this, maybe around 7th of a new month, that is, after confirming from others that you are maybe the only one not paid.
