Confirmed to be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip.
POCO, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, will launch the POCO X6 series of new phones in India early next year. The official has not disclosed the specific launch date, but the Flipkart e-commerce platform has launched the POCO X6 series micro website in advance.
It has been officially confirmed that POCO X6 Pro will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip. According to US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification information, POCO X6 Pro will be available in two storage configurations: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
It is worth mentioning that POCO X6 Pro is actually a rebranded version of the Redmi K70e launched in China not long ago . POCO X6 Pro has slightly reduced the charging speed from 90W of Redmi K70e to 67W. This is also a common practice for manufacturers to adjust according to different market needs. Except for charging speed adjustment, POCO X6 Pro is roughly the same as Redmi K70e in other aspects.
POCO X6 Pro has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and supports 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and DCI-P3 color gamut. In terms of core configuration, in addition to the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip mentioned above, the phone is also equipped with a Mali G615 graphics processor, providing 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5X memory and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of system, POCO X6 Pro is pre-installed with the HyperOS system based on Android 14.
In terms of imaging, POCO X6 Pro uses a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro lens combination on the rear, paired with a dual-color temperature LED flash, and the front camera is 16MP. In terms of battery life, the machine is equipped with a 5500mAh battery, supports 67W fast charging, and is equipped with an on-screen fingerprint recognition sensor. In terms of other functions, the phone also provides stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, NFC, GPS, infrared remote control and Wi-Fi 6 support, and has obtained Hi-Res audio certification and Hi-Res wireless certification.
In terms of price, the 12GB + 256GB version of Redmi K70e in China is priced at $282.40, which means that POCO X6 Pro is likely to enter the Indian market at a price of less than $300.30. Considering its excellent configuration, the price is undoubtedly very attractive.
