Chinese Smartphone maker, Vivo announces their latest mobile phone, the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro 5G with Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC and an integrated 5G modem.
Vivo mobile made the debuts of the phone today with the Samsung chipsets with an integrated 5G modem. It is a first in the industry, even before Samsung.
Anyways, the Vivo X30 and X30 PRO are a huge part of the company’s camera X-series. The differences and similarities are quite clear, and the phones were announced in China.

While the major differences in the camera, where the Vivo X30 5G comes with the triple rear camera setup, while the Pro variant with an additional 5-megapixel periscope-style camera.
The Vivo X30 5G arrives with the triple rear camera setup, consisting of 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 lens, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 32-megapixel third camera with f/2.0 aperture.
While the X30 Pro comes with a QUAD rear setup, which includes an additional 13-megapixel periscope camera with f/3.0 aperture, 5x optical zoom support and a focal length of 135mm.
Vivo said that the Super Night mode can stack 12-16 photos to reduce the noise in the dark. It comes with a “Hyper HDR”, which specializes in shooting against the sun or bright lights at night.
Both Vivo X30 5G and Vivo X30 PRO 5G arrives with a 32-megapixels selfie camera that lives in a tiny punch hole, a hair under 3mm in diameter.
Vivo new phones are powered by an Exynos 980 SoC with Mali-G76 MP5 GPU, integrated with 5G modem. Which can deliver speeds up to 3.55Gbps for both 4G and 5G.
There is a Multi-Turbo 2.5 feature that will switch over to 4G or 5G if the Wi-Fi network is slow to ensure things download as fast as possible.
The Vivo X30 5G is available in Black, White, and Pink shades. While the X30 PRO 5G is available in Black, White, and Pink gradient finishes. There’s also a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Vivo X30 Pro will be available starting from the 24th of December and will cost CNY 4,000 for the 8/128GB model and CNY 4,300 for the 8/256GB option.
While the Vivo X30 will be available only in 8GB/128GB starting from December 28 at CNY 3,300. And the 8GB/256GB version costs CNY 3,600. Anyways, the 8GB/128GB storage will come out first before the upgraded variants.
