According to Windowslatest reports, in the next version of Windows 10, the “Settings” application will get more new functions that can control the computer, but Microsoft said that the “Control Panel” will still exist.
In the process of gradual modernization of the Win 10 control panel, one point that is particularly easy to overlook is the advanced network settings , because it is the location of many old advanced interfaces.
In the next update, the “Settings” application will allow users to configure DNS servers . Previously, configuring a custom DNS server required access to the “Network” tab in the “Control Panel”.
To edit DNS and configure HTTP over HTTPS (DoH) settings, users can now go to “Settings”> “Network and Internet”> “Wi-Fi” and click “Properties”.
After opening the “Properties”, click the “Edit” button under “DNS Settings”, and then enable the DoH DNS server, optional including Cloudflare and Google.
Microsoft has also added the traditional “Control Panel” function to the “Sound” panel of the “Settings” application.
