Reuters news, three people familiar with the matter said on Friday that China opposes the forced sale of TikTok’s business in the United States by ByteDance and hopes to see the short video application shut down in the United States. Bytedance responded in a statement to Reuters that the Chinese government has never advised it to close TikTok in the US or any other market .
