Xiaomi has added a new model to its Redmi 10 series smartphones. Called the Redmi 10C, the handset sports a waterdrop notch display on the front and its textured rear shell has a squarish camera module which not only houses a dual-camera system, but also a fingerprint scanner. The phone replaces the Redmi 9C smartphone from last year.

The Redmi 10C houses a 6.71-inch LCD display. Since Xiaomi is yet to share detailed information on its specs, it is unclear whether the device supports an HD+ or FHD+ resolution. The device comes preinstalled with Android 11 OS and MIUI 13.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. The device offers users with up to 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of storage. For additional storage, it features a microSD card. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The Redmi 10C has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera, which is coupled with a 2-megapixel lens. The other details of the phone are yet to be confirmed.

The Redmi 10C arrives Nigeria in three colors – black, blue, and green. Prices is as follows;
4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage model goes for NGN 78,000 (~$188)
4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model goes for NGN 87,000 (~$209).
Rumors have it that the Redmi 10C will be rebranded as the Redmi 10 handset in India. It is also speculated that the same phone may also get rebranded as the POCO C4 in India. The Redmi 10 and POCO C4 are expected to arrive in India by March or April.
