One of its most interesting functions is the “Legacy mode”, which limits the functionalities of the app to ensure maximum compatibility with devices from different manufacturers.
With this mode activated, the application will detect when music is being played through a compatible app such as Spotify or YouTube Music, as well as with most music players for Android .
When detecting music playback, if we have selected our headphone model from the list provided by Wavelet, the app will equalize the sound with the settings created specifically for that model , substantially improving the audio quality.
The app includes other settings and features , such as a nine-band graphic manual equalizer, bass enhancer, reverb, virtualizer, limiter, or channel balance adjustment.
Only some of the aforementioned features require the full Wavelet package , which is priced at € 4.99. All other functions are included with the free version . Another advantage of this app is that, unlike other audio enhancement mods , Wavelet does not need superuser or root permissions .
