Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 12i features a plastic body. In the front you would find a dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.
This Infinix phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 pixels resolution. A fingerprint sensor is provided on the back for security.
The Camera
Infinix Hot 12i Features three cameras on the back. You get 13 megapixels camera, a 2 megapixels depth camera, and another 2 megapixels AI camera. The rear camera is supported with a dual LED flash.
The front dewdrop notch houses an 8 megapixels front facing camera for taking selfies. There is also a front facing LED flash for the selfie camera.
Hardware and Software
The Infinix Hot 12i is powered by an quad-core Mediatek Helio A22 chipset clocked at up to 2.0GHz. It also offers a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The android phone sports 2GB, 3GB, or 4GB RAM with Extended RAM, a similar technology to the Memory Fusion technology found in the Tecno Spark 8C. This enables you add virtual memory (up to 3GB) to your smartphone for a smoother experience.
You get a 64GB built-in storage for storing stuff on the smartphone. If you need more memory, the smartphone has support for memory. This enable you add up to 128GB memory card to your smartphone.
The smartphone runs on Android 11 out of the box. It also supports a 5000 mAh battery.
Connectivity
The android phone packs dual-SIM with 4G LTE support. You also get microUSB (USB 2.0) with Bluetooth. Wi-Fi is also supported.
Infinix Hot 12i Price and Availability
Infinix Hot 12i price in Nigeria starts at around 61,800 Naira for the 64GB + 2GB variant and 67,000 Naira for the 6GB + 3GB variant. The Infinix Hot 12i costs around 655 GHS in Ghana, 13,199 KES in Kenya, 9,999 INR in India.
The affordable android phone was announced on April 1, 2022, and was available for purchase same day.
