Tecno Mobile launched the Pova Neo smartphone in Nigeria last year December. Now, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer is reportedly prepping to unveil the handset’s 5G version. In addition, the Tecno Pova Neo 5G moniker has been spotted on the IMEI database.
According to a report by Rootmygalaxy, Tecno Mobile will soon launch the Pova Neo 5G in India. The hawk-eyed folks at Rootmygalaxy even found an IMEI database listing of the handset. As per the publication, the 5G-ready version of the Pova Neo will launch within the next two months.
So, the Tecno Pova Neo 5G India launch could take place in July or August. Now, Tecno Mobile has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation.
However, the report also sheds light on the Pova Neo 5G smartphone’s specifications. The Neo 5G has been spotted on the IMEI database carrying model number LE6J. This listing confirms the handset’s existence. Rootmygalaxy claims that the upcoming Pova Neo 5G will succeed the Pova Neo.
Tecno Pova Neo 5G Specifications (Expected)
Tecno Mobile could reveal vital shreds of information about the Pova Neo 5G soon. In the meantime, the Rootmygalaxy has tipped the Pova Neo 5G key specs.
First off, the report suggests that the Pova Neo 5G will get an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. According to the report, it could come only in a 4GB RAM+64GB storage configuration. However, the handset will offer virtual RAM support. So, you can get an extra memory of up to 5GB.
Further, the phone could run Android 12 OS out of the box. The handset will probably sport a 6.9-inch display.
The display is likely to support a 90Hz refresh rate and feature a punch hole notch for the selfie camera. A robust 6000mAh battery unit could power up the entire system. This cell will reportedly support 33W fast charging. Lastly, the phone will be available in only the Electric Blue color option.
