Apple A14X chip will be mass-produced in Q4 this year

According to Appleinsider quoted Digitimes report, Apple’s ARM processor A14X will enter mass production in the fourth quarter of this year .

Naijatechnews has learned that Apple’s first Apple Silicon Mac and next-generation iPad Pro will be equipped with A14X ARM processors. According to Digitimes, TSMC is expected to use its 5nm EUV process to manufacture 5,000 to 6,000 wafers per month. Each wafer contains hundreds of A14X processors, which will be broken down into individual chips later in the manufacturing process.

There is news that Apple is increasingly adopting its own system-in-package (SIP) microprocessor technology, and companies such as TSMC and other manufacturers are preparing for the growing demand for this technology. At the same time, TSMC is currently studying the 3 nanometer process, which may be used in the future Apple Silicon Mac.

According to Bloomberg news, Apple’s first batch of Mac processors will have 12 cores, including 8 high-performance cores and at least 4 energy-efficient cores. In the future, Mac processors with more than 12 cores will be explored. Apple is currently designing based on The second-generation Mac processor with A15 chip .
