The Spider-Man: No Way Home crossover will be BGMI’s first collaboration with Sony Pictures. The new crossover content will be added with version 1.8 update that will launch in mid-January 2022. Players will be able to earn Spider-Man-themed cosmetics by completing in-game missions. Jeffrey Godsick, EVP of Global Partnerships and Brand Management and Head of Location Based Entertainment at Sony Pictures Entertainment, has said, “This exciting collaboration will allow fans around the world to expand their engagement with their friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man through BGMI’s state-of-the-art gaming experience – all while on the go with their mobile phone.”
Krafton hasn’t revealed a lot of details about the upcoming BGMI x Spider-Man: No Way Home crossover yet. It’s unclear whether the game will only get themed cosmetics, or if it will come with a brand-new game mode featuring characters from Spider-Man: No Way Home. The developer is expected to share more information about the exact launch date, cosmetics, and new content being added to BGMI in the coming days.
