How can I extend the BSNL SIM validity?
BSNL users can choose to recharge from the list of validity extension recharge plans to extend the validity of their mobile number. The operator offers a host of plans including Rs 75, Rs 94, Rs 106, Rs 107, and more. Alternatively, one can send SMS Ext Validity to 51505. The telecom operator will send an SMS to confirm your request. You can follow the instructions to confirm it and once done you need to pay the validity extension amount. The money will be automatically deducted from your account balance and your validity period will be extended.
What is the account disconnection date in BSNL?
BSNL offers two types of grace periods for its customers. The first one is known as Grace Period 1 or GP1 and the second is Grace Period 2 or GP2. The GP1 period from the date of expiry of the validity, while the GP2 starts from the 8th day of expiry of validity. The GP1 is valid for 7 days, while GPS is valid for 165 days. This means you get a total of 172 days from the date of expiry. This means that after the completion of 172 days, your BSNL SIM will be completely deactivated.
