Most of OnePlus’ smartphones that are eligible for the latest Google Android 10 update like the OnePlus 6/6t, OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 pro have all being updated to the new OS except for one device which is the OnePlus 7 pro 5G.

OnePlus promised last year that it will roll out the new Android 10 update for OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users by Q1 of 2020. Keeping to its promise, the new OxygenOS update which is based on the latest stable Android 10 OS has started rolling out to the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users.

The new OxygenOS 10.0.4 for OnePlus 7 Pro 5G packs all the latest Android 10 features and many more. Below is the full changelog.

  • Upgraded to Android 10
  • Brand new UI design
  • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
  • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
Full Screen Gestures
  • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
  • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps
Game Space
  • New Game Space feature now joins all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience
Contextual Info
  • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Contextual info)
Message
  • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Blocking settings)
The update is currently being rolled out in batches so it will take a few days before all users receive the update.
