So here’s how you can change your WhatsApp number.

First you open the WhatsApp app on your smartphone. Go to your profile. Open the setting menu. Then scroll down to Account Option. There are many options available, click change number. Then click Next and add your old and new mobile numbers. WhatsApp then checks your new number and changes it.

Then activate the Notify Contacts option. This will send a message about your new number to all your contacts. You can, of course, inform your contacts about the number change.

Not only personal contacts, but groups as well, will be notified of your new WhatsApp number that is part of you. With this feature, all your chats, media files and all other data shared on WhatsApp will remain and cannot be deleted.

Now if you have more than one WhatsApp account and want to bundle an old account, there are simple steps for this. Click on Delete My Account in the Accounts section in the WhatsApp settings section.
