ASUS launches Chromebook CM3001 2-in-1 tablet: processor upgraded, memory increased to 8GB.
ASUS launched the Chromebook CM3000 in 2021 and today launched the successor of the CM3001. The appearance design of the new CM3001 follows the design of the previous generation, but the processor performance is slightly upgraded and the memory is increased from 4GB to 8GB.
In terms of processor, ASUS CM3001 is equipped with MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor. Compared with the Kompanio 500 processor of the previous generation CM3000, the performance is slightly upgraded.
In terms of memory, CM3001 still uses LPDDR4x memory, but the capacity is upgraded from 4GB to 8GB.
In terms of wireless, CM3001 has been upgraded to support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. In addition, a 4G LTE cellular network version is optional, but now it only supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.
