Use the Screen Time Passcode to create a passcode and re-enter the passcode to confirm the same. Once the password has been set, navigate to “Content and Privacy Restriction”. Enter the passcode when prompted and then turn on Content & Privacy and then navigate to “iTunes & App Store Purchases”. Tap in the option that says, “In-App Purchases” and selects “Don’t Allow”.
It is recommended that the passcode that you choose for controlling the screen time is different from the passcode that you use to unlock your device.
How To Turn Off In-App Purchases On Android?
In-app purchases can be restricted on Android from Google Play. For doing so, present the menu button and navigate to Settings and under “User Control”, tap on the option that says “Set or Change Pin” enter a PIN and re-confirm the PIN when prompted again. Once the PIN has been set, check the box that says, “Use PIN for purchases”.
Having a PIN will ensure that for making any in-app purchases, the PIN needs to be entered. Again, try to keep the PIN of managing the in-app purchase different from the PIN that you are using to unlock the device.
