PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) is Sony’s subscription service that grants you access to benefits like free games and online multiplayer. If you’ve decided that you’ve had enough, you need to cancel the service to ensure it doesn’t automatically renew.
You can either cancel PS Plus on your PlayStation console or via a web browser. Here’s how.
What Happens When You Cancel PlayStation Plus?
Technically, you don’t cancel PlayStation Plus. Instead, you disable auto-renewal. This means that payment won’t automatically get taken at the end of your current billing cycle.
You can continue enjoying all your PlayStation Plus benefits until that date. Thereafter, you won’t get the benefits again until you resubscribe. This also means you will lose access to your PS Plus games until that time.
