Samsung says One UI 6.1 comes with additional widgets for your Lock screen and Always On Display. These new widgets will help you quickly check useful info without unlocking your phone. The new widgets include Weather, Samsung Health, Battery, Reminder, Calendar, and Clock.
The company is bringing new widgets to many native One UI apps. While new firmware update also includes newer app version, you should ensure to check the status through the Galaxy Store. Being on the latest app version will deliver you the most satisfactory experience.
In particular, the Battery section now has two widgets, Calendar has two, Clock has one, Reminder also has two, Samsung Health app has two and Weather has a single widget. Tapping the down-side arrow expands the preview and allows you to put it on the lock screen.
Samsung will rollout One UI 6.1 update to Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series as well.
