Samsung Galaxy S25 series will continue using Snapdragon SoC alongside Exynos, Digitimes reports. The company has returned its flagship Exynos chip with the S24 series and rumors swirl that S25 will solely pack Exynos.
Putting a full stop to those rumors, credible news source, Digitimes, confirms that Samsung will continue its dual-chip strategy (Snapdragon and Exynos) with the Galaxy S25 series flagships next year.
The South Korean tech giant will likely maintain the dual-track application processor (AP) system for its next-gen Galaxy S25 series in 2025, entailing the use of both Samsung’s Exynos and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon.
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus might feature Exynos 2500 in regions like Asia and Europe. Markets like the US and China would continue to get Snapdragon variants, and Ultra might solely use Qualcomm’s chip globally.
Exynos in Z Flip 6
Tipster left X previously revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could be equipped with an Exynos chip. The rumor indicated that Samsung is considering expanding the utilization of its in-house chips to a foldable lineup.
Exynos 2400 powering the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus proved that Samsung’s Exynos game hasn’t ended. While consumers still think twice/thrice about Exynos flagships, things would go in favor in the future.
