Samsung Galaxy S23 series is receiving the first One UI 6.1-based update with April 2024 security patch in India. This update is already out in Canada, the US, and Europe. This update enhances the device’s overall performance by fixing over 40 issues.
The fresh security patch fixes one critical and 26 high-priority CVEs in the Android OS as well as enhanced device security by resolving 17 specific vulnerabilities. However, the changelog of this update does not include any new features or changes.
April 2024 security update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in India with One UI build version S911BXXS3CXD2, S916BXXS3CXD2, and S918BXXS3CXD2 respectively.
The installation package size of this update is around 560MB. Users can install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
Aside from this, Samsung Galaxy S23 users are facing issues with the fingerprint scanner after the One UI 6.1 update. Additionally, users have also reported touchscreen responsiveness problems, making it difficult to open apps and perform tasks. The fresh update might resolve this issue so install it now.
