Samsung officially released the Galaxy S24 series of mobile phones at the Galaxy Unpacked conference held today. There are three models in this series, the Galaxy S24 starts at $799.99, the Galaxy S24 Plus starts at $999.99, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra starts at $1,299.99.
The screens of all three Samsung Galaxy S24 models have been improved, but the upgrade of the Galaxy S24 Plus is even greater.
All three Samsung Galaxy S24 models use Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens with faster touch response times and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
Samsung’s new flagship for 2024 also has improved Vision Booster technology and a new adaptive tint feature. In addition, the basic and Plus models also increase the adaptive refresh rate from 48-120Hz to 1-120Hz for the first time.
Basic Galaxy S24
The base Galaxy S24 has a display resolution of 2340 x 1080, the same as the Galaxy S23.
Galaxy S24 Ultra
Thanks to thinner bezels and a slight change in aspect ratio, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s display has a slightly higher pixel count than the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s, at 3120 x 1440 pixels, compared to the predecessor’s 3088 x 1440.
Galaxy S24 Plus
The screen resolution of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus model is 3120 x 1440 , while the screen resolution of the S23 Plus is 2340*1080 , which is the most obvious improvement.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus screen is 6.7 inches, and the resolution is the same as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, so the pixel density is the highest among the three models, reaching 516 pixels per inch, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is 505ppi.
